Stone Hall (formally Old Quincy House) is a 58,000 sf Neo-Georgian student residence built in 1930, with brick exterior and slate roof. Dimeo was retained by Harvard University for Preconstruction Services, including performing extensive investigations and documenting the fabric, structure and integrity of the building over the course of two summers before construction began. Dimeo comprehensively renovated the four-story hall, achieving LEED Platinum certification. Scope included window & slate roof replacements, masonry restorations, reconfiguration of interior spaces, new mechanical and electrical systems and finishes.
