Isenberg School of Management Business Innovation Hub // Amherst, MA Size: 70,000 sf // Architect: Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) University of Massachusetts

The $53 million Business Hub project added 70,000 gross square feet of classrooms and student facing spaces to the school’s existing facilities, including an expanded career center, advising spaces, learning commons, and faculty offices. The renovation included consolidating programs into three buildings with better access to teaching spaces and offices for all departments. It also included an interior learning commons space that provides a social atmosphere for student activity, gatherings, school celebrations, guest lectures, and banquets for alums and dignitaries. The relocation and installation of underground utilities now provide best-in-class services to the University’s business school and the entire campus.
