Rhode Island State Health Lab // Providence, RI Size: 212,000 sf // Architect: HOK Ancora Partners

Dimeo Construction Company was recently selected to partner with Ancora Partners, GRE, and HOK Architects on the Rhode Island State Health Lab in downtown Providence, RI. The 212,000-square-foot, nine-story core and shell development will house the state’s new 80,000-square-foot health lab, state-of-the-art life sciences labs, and additional biotechnology space. The project includes shelled spaces ready to accommodate an additional 80,000 square feet of future state-of-the-art lab tenants. A sizeable BSL-3 laboratory is a signature feature of the core project. The building will include a two-story fully enclosed mechanical penthouse and ground level mechanical equipment. The project will pursue LEED Gold certification
