The Sterling Chemistry Lab project included renovations/additions to a 90,000-sf facility. The scope included demolition and new construction of 75,000 sf of the building, including a new roof structure to enclose a lab and teaching spaces. The project provides for new chemistry and biology laboratories, offices, a Lecturer’s office, and support. The project included over 220 fume hoods. The project utilized BIM extensively and earned LEED Gold certification.
