The Campus Recreation Center, designed by Cannon Design, is a 52,000 gsf facility that replaced the former Field House. It includes a 4,000 sf lower-level area for the Public Safety Department. Others did the demolition of the existing Field House before the start of this project. The three-story Recreation Center consists of a two-court gymnasium with an elevated one tenth-mile jogging track, weights and fitness, multipurpose rooms, and support facilities such as lockers and administrative offices. The lower level serves as the primary location for campus police and security. The new construction work began in April 2019 and was completed with TCO in November 2020.
