project responsibilities » Ability to utilize a high level of professionalism with all communications (written, telephone, or in-person) to project field labor, subcontractors, clients, vendors, etc. in a businesslike manner, to incorporate company branding. » Track and understand appropriate contract related documents and understand the agreement and the influence on project requirements. » Review and understanding project insurance requirements and assist in tracking delinquent subcontractors and non-compliance issues. » Meet closing deadlines for cost control, including monthly invoice pricing, amendments when required, and pricing accuracy. » Prepare for PM and owner review, the monthly requisition to the owner (inclusive of all subcontractor costs, generate self-perform T&M tickets and cost reconciliation, allowance, contingency, change order, stored material documentation, and miscellaneous overhead charges). » Participate in monthly owner review of pencil requisitions for accuracy and notifications of revisions to pencil requisition in order to accurately complete the final requisition. » Complete the monthly requisition with all required contractual back up from pencil copy to final, including required corporate and subcontractor lien waivers. » Review AS400 reports for cost coding accuracy and monthly journal entries charged to the projects (i.e. truck/travel, Verizon invoice, misc. charges, etc…). » Review progress and final blue sheets for accuracy and adjustments as required, prior to PM signature. Preparation of any missing blue sheets based on requisition submission and project closeout process. » Apply cost accounting to T & M slips based on project budget and assist project team in maintaining T & M log and subsequent amendments to subcontractors and vendors. » Assist in initial preparation of project cash flow and maintain monthly updating of curve. » Understanding of project contractual requirements for on-site trade labor reporting (minorities, females, residents, apprentices, etc…) and MBE/WBE/ DBE contracting statistics and goals. Coordination and interface with local/ state compliance offices for required submissions. Able to obtain and track metrics / information, for the above reporting, from appropriate parties in order for project to submit required reporting to owner/city/state agencies. » Collect, review, track and maintain logs for required certified payroll projects. Provide owner or representative a monthly log and original copies of payrolls. » Analyze metrics and draft / provide delinquent letters, to the PM for signature, for companies not achieving goals or requirements for certified payrolls, on-site trade labor percentages, or MBE/WBE/DBE participation including the distribution of letters after the PM signature. » and more...
